Amasa Campbell (1845-1912)
Amasa Campbell was a self made investor and mining millionaire. Campbell held some of the most valuable mining properties in the Inland Empire as well as timber tracts in western Washington and shares of many other businesses in Spokane. He had his Spokane mansion built in 1898. The home was designed by Kirtland Cutter. Today the mansion is listed on the National Register of Historical Places and is now a museum open for public tours.
